Our standard callout fee is $110 inc. GST + Labour (charged in 15 min increments).
A/C repairs can vary depending what the problem can be. To get an accurate estimate, We would need to come and diagnose any problems the A/C unit may have and send you a quote to repair.
We prefer to send teams of two to most sites, for efficient & quality service. If you would prefer only one technician, please advise at time of booking.
There are a number of reasons why your A/C unit would stop running. Before contacting a qualified technician, it’s important to check that the isolator beside your outdoor condenser is on, power at the board is on, and batteries in your remote control are new. If the above is fine you will need to contact a technician to come and diagnose your A/C for any problems.
Things to look out for are “how long ago was it installed?” and “is it still under warranty?”. Depending on how long ago it was installed, there could potentially be an installation error which would mean you’d need to contact the installer. If it is still under warranty, you’ll need to contact a warranty agent. If you can’t do either its best to contact a Technician to diagnose the fault.
If your A/C unit is not running efficiently, smells like mould and bacteria, and looks mouldy and dirty. Solution? Contact Easy Cool Air today! Generally, for domestic A/C units, you should have them serviced every 12 months. For commercial sites your A/C should be serviced every 3 to 6 months.
In Far North Queensland, we do have an issue with geckos blowing up your A/C’s PCBs (printed circuit boards) which can become really expensive to replace. So, blue-chip brands like Mitsubishi and Panasonic provide more internal protection to prevent this situation. From a professional standpoint, it’s true to say you get what you pay for. Mitsubishi, Daikin, Fujitsu and Panasonic are our preferred brands.
